sr20 question
i have had my 240 for about a year now. its auto and i looking to go 5 speed and swap sr20 but i am not qualified for the job..can anyone recommend a good shop in the area that will do a good job at a good price? thanks

just to give you a heads up. its going to cost a shit ton. you might want to go to a junk yard or the parts for sale section and get all the manual pasts you need. all the hydrolic lines and shit not to mention ecu and pedals and shit. millinenium (cant spell) quoted my friend matt at $2200 to install his and he alsready has a 5 speed in his 91. so it is going to cost more then the motor more than likely.

I was about to do a 5 speed conversion on my 240 but its hell... seriously, I agree with cole you could probobly buy an SR swapped 240 for as much as your going to spend in the whole ordeal.

ya that does sound like a lot of shit to go through..i guess i'll just sell my 240 and get one that is already swapped..i have sportlines on my car now so it should be fairly easy to get rid of it

he is correct. he is swapping it from a 96 180sx front clip to his 92 fb.
