I can vouch for the suspiciousness of these dudes..... they were pretty much stopping at every open garage on the backstreet and looking hard. Then to add to it all after making their rounds they pulled into a dead end office building parking lot, sat there for a minute or two and then exited the neighborhood.

Call the police with that plate number and tell them you saw them taking pictures and snooping around some bridge or tunnel... they'll be in jail without a trial forever.

really sounds like they were casing the houses in your neighborhood. if i were you, i would contact the police with the description you gave, and also inform your neighbors about what you saw. maybe if the neighbors are informed, they can help keep an eye out for anything suspicious.

I'm in the same boat, but just imagine if you have a type r. It's not that it's expensive, it's that it's desireable to a certain crowd. If I had a NSX and Type R and took them both to the mall, I wouldn't be worried one bit about theft towards the NSX (vandalism yes, but theft no).
