can you just get the sidekick without the cell phone plan?

 

yeah. you don't need the cell plan, but they offer one.

 

i have a hiptop, same thing as a sidekick, but suncom's service is shitty....but i don't know anyone with a sidekick, so i don't know how t-mobile's service is...

 

it's good on T-Mobile. my friend has it. he uses it instead of using Aim on his puter now lol

 

OK my boys has had both suncom and t mobile service on these things and they suck THESE ARE MEANT FOR IM's and shit like that the cell phone part never gets reception. Suncom cell serivce sucks! Tmobile is better but still sucks. And im talking about sidekicks reception. The regular cell phones are good for tmobile and suncom its just the sidekicks that suck ass. Its like they can get reception or somthing its crazy

 

amazon.con has the sidekic for 269.99 - $50 rebate- $200 rebate. It ends up selling for 19.99.

I had the sidekick for a week and took it back. Phone reception is horrible, the internet is pretty useless and slow, you look like an idiot talking into a shoebox, the way it works, it's easy to hang up on calls on accident, easy to drop and just plain sucks. My opinion and i dont matter but there.
