Re: Tips on a Cav
I had an 02 Z24 and I did the simple boring mods and I tell you what...160 hsp. or so intake, header, exhaust and some cheap ass adr wheels and black euro tails ... gayest thing I drove but my third car and wasn't bad to have as a junior in highschool, it beat the occassional civic but not any swaps or anything however the motor could take a 4000$ supercharger and crank out like 240 horsepower and eat a few cars, but just enjoy the decent gas mileage and family car abilities the auto is lame for sure. From all experience with my current POS civic hatch auto. they are wretched so the gas mileage is a good excuse for sure.

Yeah bro, totally better than the Navy. God forbid our uniforms look like blueberries, but at least most of us can put together a sentence.

To the op I would say. Its an auto Cavy, if you like it keep it, but dont expect it to be a race car. You can pick up a fun little 5 speed something or other for less money than you will spend on attempting to make your Cavalier less slow, only to realize its still painfully so.
