My friend Ollie works for VWoA. I can describe the situation to him and see what he thinks. And with the R32, you'd better get your name on the waiting list like, umm, NOW! And besides, it's going to be a limited production so aftermarket parts will be scarce. You'd be better off just getting in a VR6. Or better yet, get a Mk2 and build up a 2.2L 16V.

try taking it up to CF and seeing if Will P. or Jeff M. can look at it and just be very honest if you get to actually tak wil them about it. your best bet is to hope for a new tranny and forget about the lemon law unless you car already fills the requirements for the lemon law. I think its like 30 days of in shop maintance or unrepairable brake problems. I know of only 2 vws getting lemoned and one was an uncurable alternator light on a eurovan and another was for multiple engines, and other problems on a W8 passat

haha no and no, not quite my style...i jus know that this car is crap and i hope either i can get a new 1.8t or find something else hmm who knows?!?! im crossing my fingers moday is when we talk to the dealer about lemoning the car.

well my gti has a brand new tranny and vw didnt even put up a fight and it only took them 1 day so im very pleased!!
