That's right, Backyard Sports Club is starting a wiffle ball league this summer!. Backyard Sports Club is a newly founded sports league in the Hampton Roads area. Meet new people, network your line of business, or simply have a drink at the sponsored bar. This co-ed adult league is built on being social and fun with a new twist to the old pastime recreation of picnic outings and elementary school field day.

Games will be played on Thursday nights at the Azalea Little League Complex in Norfolk. Only a mile away from the Virginia Beach Blvd and Military Highway intersection.

I know you're asking what makes us great!

- We are a co-ed social league. If you are new to the area and willing to meet people in a social environment. This is perfect for you.
- You must be 21. And you ask why. It is because we have a sponsored bar nearby with excellent food and drink specials just for the league.
- Concession stand and clean bathrooms. Very convenient if missed out on lunch during the day.
- Your very own Backyard Sports Club t-shirt.
- 8+ games. This may include double headers! Prolong the fun!
- Independent referees to help facilitate the game.
- Themed nights. Wacky Hat Night, Wacky Sock, Costume, Design Your Shirt, Design Your Hat Night...The list goes on.
- End of the season tournament. Every team gets invited to play.
- End of the season Luau Party. Bring your Hawaiian shirts and flippy floppies!

Team minimum will be 8 players (4 guys and 4 girls) and maximum is 16 players. Don't worry if you don't have a team signed up. You can sign up as an individual and we can place you on a team. So far, there are 5 registered teams! The season starts on July 7, 2011.
