With how expensive rebuilds are for those motors, he better drive the ever-loving shit out of it. But based upon how many miles are on it (and anticipating it staying that way), anything more than changing some simple seals/gaskets would be a waste.

first things i started thinking of was what kind of condition are they REALLY in, because letting a car sit for twenty years could actually be far worse than beating on it but keeping it properly maintained...
but from what i can gather, these two were both somehow kept in great condition (i would like to know the logistics on this...). awesome find, cool story hansel. seriously.

Seems like such a waste, reminds me of the guy who has an STi (04/05) but still has less than 500 miles on it. What's the point of buying toys if you aren't going to play with them?
