Re: b series motor help?
and a k series is the best motor a integra can have.....
argue with me about it and you will lose....
you will need the following for the lsvtec....
oil line
sandwich plate
conversion dowels.
new ls headgasket
vtec head
vtec headstuds.
block off
a intake manifold for the head. the vtec heads cant use non vtec intake manifolds... and b16's and gsr intake manifolds are diffrent. type r's are the same as the b16.
vtec dizzy
vtec valve cover.
your going to need a vtec ecu
wire up vtec because the harness in your car dosent have it already there.
most of the little stuff can be found in simple kits.... like this one....

thats the one i used personally, but there are cheaper ones...
ls/vtecs are nice setups, but dont fall into the normal group of lsvtec people who think just because they have vtec means they can rev it to the moon. and end up beating on them for no reason in the higher up 8k....
just do everything right, dont half ass anything and you will be fine....
here is a good read....

he redid the bottom end as well....
good luck. be smart
