That hood on the black civic looks like ass, who made that? See the streaks across it, that's the carbon cloth not getting consolidated properly. The carbon is farther away from the surface in some spots, that's why it looks like that. You won't see that on a hood unless it's mass produced and hand layed. Maybe fine for fiberglass, but crappy for carbon, especially if aesthetics are important. How much $$ are Vis hoods going for now?

Spoon makes the best, if you have the $$$... im not sure who made sk8rmike's hood, PM him, cause his cf hood on his del sol is flawless...i know several peeps on the board can vouch.

Well, my Fiber Images started to fade. I'm going with a VIS hood now. They seem to be the best.

haha not sound like a jdm ricer, but ive seen a lot of CF hood's like vis,FI, c arbon works etc..but nothing fit better than spoon

my who is all banged up so insurance is going to pay for it as soon as the adjuster has time to see me, so i figure price for a new hood plus have it painted i should have no problem getting a good cf hood, but i dont think ill have enough for a spoon
