I'd love to see someone atempt to find parts for it... I bet the existing metal is so fragile... Just stick the bastard in a museum or hack it up and make a sweet salt flat car...

You'd be amazed at the lengths these specialty restorers can go, especially the research and fabrication. It would be so awesome to see it documented if the Bugatti was actually gonna be restored.

Sorta OT, but this video below here really opened up my eyes to the lengths that are taken, it's like a 21 or 22 part documentary filmed for youtube of a Porsche 917 restoration. Not nearly as intense as restoring that Bugatti would be, but cool nonetheless. Here's part 1.
