get the insurance money and buy something really cheap to get you buy. try to part off what you can.

I was going to say if you find a junk one and rob the parts and front clip it would be worth fixing it yourself. Then I read futher that it is in the shop, so good luck with that, hopefully they dont charge you an arm and a leg like most body shops.

any car is salvageable, it just how much work/time/money are you willing to put into it. seeing as you can get a coupe for like 2k, it would prolly be cheaper to just get a new one, and then youd have a parts car too.
