Re: crome and uberdata
There is an Uberdata mirror somewhere, I don't remember where it is. PGMFI is the development site for both Crome and Uberdata, and that's the best place to look, yes.
You should have just asked, I would have told you where to look, I've been a contributing member of PGMFI.org for years.

Re: crome and uberdata
I believe it's always better to tune the ECU itself to work with your particular engine setup than using a piggyback to "fool" the ECU.. You'll be doing the same thing as you would with a Hondata system, which is just commercial software instead of freeware. Hondata just protects their profits by making you use the little box or board, which is a copyright key (or "dongle" in computer speak)..
Certain really sophisticated ECUs like the 04+ WRX ECUs will actually compensate and change their tuning if you use a piggyback.

I would rather tune it through the ECU than through the E-manage any day. You will spen less time tuning and most likely get better runability then you would trying to use the e-manage. Also the install is less time consuming and you do not have to hack up a wiring harness to do it(tune ecu)

Re: crome and uberdata
I think you misunderstood what I meant. Chip kits run $25.00 incase you did not already have one. Install runs $45.00 and tuning runs $200 with dyno time included. So if you already have your own chip kit then it would run $245. If you alerady have a chipped ECU then it would run $200.
