Interesting, the wheelbase is only about 3 inches longer than a del Sol, and almost 6 inches shorter than an EG hatch. Only about an inch wider than most of the Civics from 92+, about the same width as the 06+ Civics. Half inch taller than an EK coupe.
So it's a good starting point, platform-wise. Now, if they could do something about that weak powertrain before someone like Clarkson publicly condemns it for being a "hairdresser's car"...
I'll take one as a body-in-white without the drivetrain. I'm sure I could shoehorn something much more inspiring under the hood.

Not only that, but Im pretty sure the motor code is an L15A2. Which is the same motor that is in the Fit. The VTEC system in the Fit, is very similar to the old VTEC-E system. Under a certain RPM it operates only 12 valves, at about 3400 RPMs, it operates all 16 valves. Valves not cam lobes.
