The motor was probably built to be a high-revving, long lasting endruance race motor. I still think its disappointing.

HAHA, it has the displacment of a average domestic V6 and makes far more HP than any V8 domestic car on the market right now. And probably still gets 10 extra MPG

4.0 V8 with ITB's at 9500 rpms. gawd damn that must sound like pure heaven.

The low torque is because its a damn 4.0L, the high HP is because of whatever they did to the heads

if they wanted torque they would've done like everyone else and used a 5.4L-7.0L block, and added a good hundred or more pounds to the car

I'm impressed, 590hp out of a 4.0L is some magical intake/head work.
