how many "miles"is that?? about 100 at the most??
Race tires don't wear out through tread wear.... they heat cycle out to the point they don't stick anymore.

Usually the first 2-3 runs are the fastest, then they're "good" for up to 12ish heat cycles then after that they fall off.

Running timetrials you typically run 1 warmup and 2 timed sessions each day so 6 heat cycles per weekend = about 2 weekends of use. After that you can still go fast, but won't be competitive.

i know that as far as not wearing out tread wise...

are you allowed to soak them in vht or anything...

i know in the past(years ago)

people at like langley speedway got busted for doing something to that affect...

said it made the tires stickier than the others.

didnt know if it was really worth it or if it was just a way to screw over the leaders

that happened a lot at langley during the late 80s early 90s

as far as i know, its illegal to soak tires, because the chemicals are super hazdous, but i do know a race team at langley that soats there tires in " goat piss" which makes them super sticky
