the 3 is a sweet little car, much nicer than any other car in its class
it's actually closer to Jettas in terms of equipments than the usual Japanese compacts, but you pay a couple grand less than the VW and still get Japanese build quality!
did i mention all 3's are still built in Hiroshima?!!? JDM y0

Are there many companies making aftermarket parts for the 3 yet? I know it will grow, however I am looking for companies that make suspension components right off bat. I know eibach makes some springs however.. I would prefer a complete coilover system.

autoexe has a coilover set, and I assume big names like JIC and TEIN may have them soon, if not already.
this car is already way ahead of the Protege in terms of aftermarket parts support when it first came out.

I was thinking about getting the 3 for a everyday car. I really like the hatch. I heard mazdapseed is going to maybe do a front wheel drive turbo or even a all wheel drive 260hp turbo

I heard that about the mazdaspeed as well. However, I believe the cost on a mazdaspeed would be a bit more out of my price range. Not to mention I don't know how true the rumor about the mazdaspeed 3 would be. Why would they want to make a 3 with more hp than the rx8? I don't see that happening.
