No I didn't because the amber lense on the corners is what makes it that color. On my eclipse, the light is normal and the lense is amber. I meant when the lights illuminate, it has to be the color that DOT says it does. Brakes red, turns amber, headlites clear(?). Maybe it's different on other cars with the color of the bulbs vs. the lenses. I'm no expert on VA law either, more familar with Cali. It shouldn't change too much cause DOT is national, but who knows about VA. I've seen some wierd laws out here.

That makes sense of course, I guess that's my bad for not explaining myself better. I don't work for DOT or the VA state troopers, so I don't have the definative answer for the questions on this post. Someone sent me the link to the VA motor vehicle laws when I moved here. So, if and when I find it, I'll post and get back to y'all if you want.

Did you get your ticket here? In cali they are illegal cause cops write fix it tickets for um all the time. I guess they could give a fuk if the bulb is amber, but it's fine to have euro tails. I know for the purpose of this thread everyone could give two sh!ts about cali laws, so I'll try to shut up about it now until I find that VA law link.

It always cracked me up that I used to terrorize the town in my F-body back in the day, and then I sported the Accord and got in more trouble then I could even figure out...it's so wrong it makes my stomach turn. Nothing major on the car, just rims and lowered and it was suddenly a crack dealer's car! Come on. I know some guys who deal wround here, and they drive domestics, trucks...and a moped...not one import. I love it. That's why I didn't buy a new Honda...ok, one of the minor reasons, but still part of the thought process.
