I like them...
The butterfly screw thing really is a 15 minute fix.
Also get a header, as dust from the precat may damage the cylinders.

All in all I like the car.....I've had 2.

For that price get a mazda speed 3. You get way more power and excellent handling. Besides the new SE-R looks like Prius to me. The 2002 SE-R was the best one.

they're prices reflect this. and even though the butterfly screw fix is quick, the majority of the owners are unaware of it and end up blowing they're engines.

i will admit that the spec-v does feel faster on the low end due to it's lower powerband/more torque. the limited slip is also a plus. but if i had a choice between the two i would pick the acura, although i'm a bit biased. the interior is also really cheesy/boyracer esque in the spec-v. the acura is on a completely different level sophistication. i'm also assuming we're comparing 06 and older sentras since that was the last year of the rsx. i have no experience with the newer ones.

plus the sentra's are built in mexico......

Get a 91-92 SE-R, much cooler & better looking. The current model looks like an F-Series.

ive got one and its really not a bad car, just the butterfly screws and the precat is the only things that are reallywrong with the car. its handles great and has plenty of power for what it is and its very torquey for a 4 door sentra, u can burn the tread off tires pretty quick and quite a few people underestimate these things. if u get one your gonna have trouble finding aftermarket parts as easily as you would with a honda but theres parts out there. in all honesty get one, just not the 02 cause those are the ones with the most problems, trust me...03+ is your best bet, but either go boost or you can swap the motor with a vq35 which is the V6 motors from the maximas and altima SERs which will put you in the high 12's and theres also a couple other swap options to go along with it. sorry for the long post but i figured i would help as much as possible.

Get an 02 SE-R, if not then a mazdapseed 3. With a few bolt ons to the speed 3 you would be able to hang with stock evos and Sti. Remember I said stock.
