You will want to shoot yourself in the face after owning a full polished raw aluminum mesh wheel for a couple of weeks. Especially since this is your DD.

The upkeep is freaking horrible... lots of people get them only to sell them or send them to cal-chrome and spend $$$$$$$ to get them chromed.

CCW won't chrom and they won't do custom stuff, they do what they list and they do it ver very very well. I'd love to get classics w/ chrome barrels and lips so they require zero upkeep, but I'll have to deal and polish the lips etc. Going to get brushed/cleared centers on mine.

I asked John/Chip why they won't do clear annodizing over full polished and they both said it comes out splotchy/hazed.

Yes... do it... full polished. Then go buy every mother's polisher attachment you can get and set aside every Saturday AM to polish them all. Oh and get lots of Rejex to apply in between polishings

I actually remember posting on autopia.com back in '05 when I originally got my polished Z06 wheels about how I could go about protecting them without having to polish them all the time. They suggested a few things, none of which I can find in their products, but it has been 5 years and times change.
