Oh Noez!
Well.....just two months after this happened........
This happens.......
I red lined my car a few weeks ago for the second time EVAR.........and I guess it was the last time
Called gotengines.com and they quoted me $3500 shipped for an engine with 71K miles on it! 
Are you serious?? Just so happened to find one from a private seller off of the LGTforums with 68K (not much better on the mileage.....but almost have as much money). Guys car was wrecked on the passenger side. I guess the good news is that now before we put the new one in we can bolt on a few extra parts I've been saving to install

yea I don't get it. We have had 4 Subarus and only have had problems with this one (knock on wood). I take care of it really well (all maint. on schedule) and I don't drive the hell out of it nearly as much as I have seen some people do.
We can't get rid of it cause we are upside down.....and I couldn't do it anyways I freakin love this car
