I haven't both the freebie gun my compressor came with and a bigger gun, you can guess which gets all the use

http://www.craftsman.com/shc/s/p_101...2_00919905000P

Not as pretty looking as some of their newer guns, but its served me well all these years and has a fairly high torque rating. Only problem I've had with it is it not being able to get off some super rusted suspension nuts (which required a several foot breaker bar with me jumping on it) and its size. Makes it hard to get into really small places, but a swivel socket usually handles that on the few occasions I've run into it.

The only thing the freebie gun is good for is nuts that don't really need to be torqued.

Tis the gun.

Those impacts are nuts. And expensive, but grandpas' retirement check should allow him to cop one.

Hah, cool the air down? I have to keep thawing my tools out recently- they keep freezing when working in the cold.

Drain your tank, it's the condensation coming though the hose and freezing up your tools. I had this problem recently, way more water came out than I could ever had imagined and I drain it regularly too.

I've got a snap on 3/8th's impact that will take anything I demand it to off.

But for lugnuts and other misc shit, I just bought the Cordless Impact 3/4inch. Shit is beast, but for $600 it better fucking be.

Brian, 3/8 ID is fine. You don't really need any flow if the the nut/bolt isn't turning because the air motor isn't moving.

Snap On airtools are a huge waste of money. Ingersoll Rand is almost always better and 1/2 the price.
