Wrong. All officers must complete a police driving course. Which includes high speed driving, defensive driving, PITT, and a host of other scenarios.

BTW: 2004 Crown Vic P71 specs.

4.6L SOHC 270hp police interceptor engine w/ HD cooling, 240 amp alt., dual exhaust with cross-over, HD 4R70W trans with HD cooling package, 8.8" rear axle with 3.73 gearing and track lock differential. Suspension is HD Nitogen shocks, high rate springs with larger anti-sway bars.
Driver and passenger doors are constructed of kevlar, rubber flooring, bucket seats, calibrated speedometer, center console delete, ceiling mounted rear lighting, spot light, front power windows, rear power windows w/ window switch delete. Extra "blanks" in fusebox.

Not all jurisdictions get this model. When caprices ruled police stations there were several different choices.

Does VSHP (I still say it should be CVHP) still have any Camaros? It's the R1200RTs that I'd worry about on the interstate if I were the type to do things that cause me to worry about such things.
