The article says you have the option of making any color "flat" though a reduction of the clear coat using their proprietary mix ratio.

The clear they use is DC92.

That's about all I got from the article.

You should be able to "flat" any color by using a satin clear instead of a gloss clear. I would have to ask my dad to be sure.
