All right so this is what I've got. The gtr cannot be imported, the only skyline you can import is a 96-98 r33 gts(http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/...elig050108.pdf). At Va dmv I think all you have to do is register it as a custom car(http://www.dmv.virginia.gov/webdoc/c...onstructed.asp)

Allright so I finally got a hold of someone at customs , this skyline thing is deff. do-able. Its only 2.5% of the cars value that you have to pay to customs, so if you get the car for 10k thats only $250. I even got the tariff # from them.
So whats left? Is there emission standards that I have to meet? If the car is on the import list than it should be up to standard , right?

Just because you can import a car doesn't mean that you can register it as a street legal vehicle and drive it on the street. Seriously, emissions is the easy part. Ever wonder why there isn't lot of JDM and EDM cars is this country?
