Thats about par for these cars. 100,000+ miles and theyll still pull up to 8.
Hell, at 110,000 miles I was offered 13k for mine.
At that milage, you may have turbo problems, but you can get those TD04s EVERYWHERE and cheap. My main concern would be the tranny. If driven properly you wont have any issues, but who knows how the guy treated it. Everything else should be pretty sound though.
Also, if you go to look at the car, make sure he starts it (obviously). These cars have a bit of drivetrain noise naturally but if the noise seems excessive, walk away.

This makes me feel good. I have an '04 with 60k that I was thinking about selling in about a year. Holding value is always a good thing.
