they think that if they make their car more JDM, they will also become more JDM themselves. eventually they become japanese. then they will be smart, will be able to get into college, get a real job, and stop doing stupid things like turning a LHD car into a RHD car. so basically they do it so they can stop doing it.

I was just wondering why people do right hand drive conversions to their cars? Is it to deliver mail?
I can understand importing a RHD car because it doesn't exist in the states, but to convert LHD to RHD doesn't make much sense unless you have no right arm, or you work for USPS.
Is this just an aesthetic thing? Or a desire to be JDM just to be JDM? I don't see the appeal. Can anyone educate me?
