Exactly what I thought, to be honest the bandana kinda gave it that "cholo" look. But I'm def. looking forward seeing it's on the car .

I basically was still working on my car up in Gloucester and it was freaking cold outside so I uncovered it enough to make sure there was actually a transmission inside of it. The guy I got it from is on LS1 tech and has 73 positive ratings on there without a single negative one. Basically I was stupid.
IF the only issue is the hole in the bell housing I am not worried about it because my friend can just TIG it closed, its just a bell housing. Now I have to worry about the condition of the entire transmission though - and either way the guy needs to give me some money back considering I paid top fucking dollar for the transmission.

i learned a while ago that just because somebody's trader rating is high...doesnt mean hes always legit
found that out the hard way on corral for some mustang parts
bastard had 120 positive feedback....and scammed me

Well, the whole bell housing appears to be fucked. A piece on the bottom, that includes a bolt hole, was just broken off at the bottom when I lifted the transmission out of the box.

Knoops Blog
I got more crap done. I am trying to get this shit in my car next weekend!!!!!
If anyone can 100% confirm to me that all of the T56 to LS1 bolts are the same length I would REALLY appreciate it. Online it says they're 10MX1.5X40, but the Chevy dealership said (4) 12MX1.75X40 and (6) 12MX1.75X45.
I got those 12M ones (thanks to Chris G for that) and they don't even fit, but the 10MX1.5 pressure plate to flywheel bolts I also got from him do, so I know that's the thread pitch, just not sure if they're all the same length now!
