Yea I was going to try the mickey thompsons, but I would have needed to get new rims to fit them. The nittos fit on the stock rim, just have some buldge.

I use those on my 2050# car, and can still spin them all day long in 4th gear. Great tires.

 

Agree 100% a way better tire then the 555r's.

 

If you want a good wet weather DR, then the Nitto's are for you. If you make decent power and want traction on a street tire, then you need M+H's. They will fit your stock rims, and a 10.5" aftermarket rim. They also make them in 18"s. Hands down the best hooking DR on the market right now.

 

OP do you live near ODU? I swear I saw the UPS guy putting these on your front porch the other day when I was walking to class. I was like wtf is in that garage, lol.
