You are correct. There are several companies making kits that include everything you need, up to and including the engine and transmission.

Mini Mania makes kits for Honda's B-, D- and K-series engines:

It can be economical if you have fabrication skills.

I realize that, I was just stating they're alot harder to get your hands on in the US than a EK, thus making people want them more for what ever reason? I don't think they're all that fantastic. I know they handle well but it seems like if you're over 5'5'' you're not getting in it.
