lol, thats my problem, I push it down too hard. And on those horrible Pirelli's the car just doesnt seem to want to go anywhere!

Best time was a 14.4 @ 101 with a 2.5 60'. So sad.....Although a fellow cobalt represented with a 13.6 @ 107. Not too shabby.

Also a stock cobalt beat a stock srt-4 (I hope for his sake he was stock), and right after that race the srt-4 left..at like 7:00.

14.4 @ 101 witha 2.5 sounds about right, cut that down to a 2.1-2.2 where you should be on street tires and turn that into a 13.8. Nice MPH though, I'm gena guess you have just minor bolt ons like exhaust, but stock boost?

Your fellow should be representing with a 12.9-13.3 depending on tires though. Honestly from a driver stand point it looks to me like you out drove him, and he had to much car . Why don't more of you guys run slicks?

A stock SRT is non existant, trust me. Likely he was your typical SRT owner and dumped money into power on a car that already has to much power for the suspension it has. If I had a quarter for every 13.9 @ 108+ SRT pass I have seen...

I got the call yesterday that my roll cage is done and the manifold and crank strap are being finished now, So I should be back out in my car in a few weeks. No promises as it's going to require some serious tuning though lol.

Actually I'm pretty well modded. I just don't have any cooling mod's installed yet so I lose a lot of horsepower in hot weather. That should be taken care of in the following weeks with a ported blower, cobra heat exchanger, and perhaps meth injection. The latter of which would also let me run some more timing.

Our axles might as well be made of plastic. I've seen and heard of dozens of cobalts snapping their axles on stock tires, let alone slicks, if they try to launch at anything over 2K rpms. I think I'll just stick with DR's. I'm also going to get some much lighter rims which should help tremendously. Our stock ones weigh 48lbs each.

Good luck with the car. Sounds like a beast. If I see ya out there i'll be sure to say whats up.

holly cow dude 48 each? that some serious weight, my Kosie K-1 drag rims are 11.5lbs each, probably 13 after the powdercoat! Yeah man I've tuned many SRT's on W/I. Defenetly worth the investment. Depending on your mix, you can run with no knock on 87 if you get serious about tuning it lol.

The same is true with any boosted setup for the most part... question is, why give away all of that HP?
