Which track are you going to?
Yeah I realize Eastside is only 1/8, but maybe that's for the best until I can get dialed in a little better. Launches I have to be careful with right now until I get some more bracing in for my transaxle nosecone.
I was reading Eastside's rules.. do I misread or do manuals really have to have a line lock? I just do E-brake launches for pre-load lol. I haven't had time to get a line lock in place yet, so maybe ghetto is a good match for me.

I am going to go to richmond dragway. I don't know what a line lock is so I don't know. When I have run there before it was pretty casual, I did not even realize they had set rules

line lock goes in your brake line to lock either your front or rear wheels depending on if your running fwd or rwd. I've never seen any track require one though. If you were going to ride 1.5 hrs to richmond, I would just ride the extra 30 min and go to MIR.

Sounds fair. I might give it a shot, just to see where I stand on the 1/8. Gotta get my vents sized up, and do some jetting, and I should be ready to go. I don't think Richmond is in the cards for me this weekend though.
