Got the new Army ACU's today
Got my initial issue today, just waiting on my name tapes, rank and patches. The Drill Sergeant emblem idea has got to go!! The Army is fvcking stupid if they think I will wear it how they presribed :nono2:

and too much velcro for my taste. Somethings like your combat patch and flag will be on your whole carrier, so why velcro it on? Most of the Army's missions are show of force anyways, so unless you spec ops, you never take that stuff off anyways IMO.

They really arent hot at all, in fact cooler as stated by many.
They have velcro so you dont have to take it off, re sew it back on when you get new uniforms. Once it tears or you get another set, take it off and put it on the other. Less patches to buy along with flags too.
1 set of name tapes, flag, unit patch, combat patch and rank. Thats cheaper that having each for every set of BDU's you own

At first I thought they were a bit too European looking, but I've notice the digitized stuff is really effective. Damn hard to focus on it.
