Re: Migraines/Headaches
damn ur hardcore, cause when i get Migraines, the last thing i want to do is have lights in my room, look at a pc screen, hear anything loud or even the dog barking. I just lay back try to meditate and smoke some weed till i pass out. that is if i can even stand smoking weed at that moment.

My only suggestion is to go to a specialist and the get a second opinion from a second specialist. There are alot of reasons that could be backing your headaches.

Re: Migraines/Headaches
Can happen at any time. Yes, I do wake up with the dull pain in the temple. Its manageable, yet sucks. Its not alcohol. I can't drink as its a trigger. I try every now and then. No more than one followed with lots of water.
I just got another appointment for tomorrow with the GP. I am going to get a recommendation from him. I just wanted to see if anyone here had any experiences with a Neurologist. I agree, the nausea is just as bad sometimes. I've also been to an allergist to see if there were any reactions to common everyday things. Only seasonal pollutants affect me. Tree mold, grass etc........ Yet, these were not at serious levels. Or, enough to cause concern atleast.
No way! Bos is Boss! How happy is the wife to get that wiper cowling on the car?
I think you misunderstood. I am dealing with a constant dull pain in the temple. The other day it had progressed to unimaginable levels and I downed all those meds. I was looking for any relief. One phenergan puts me out normally. Two, knocks me out and gives me a hangover, normally. Six demerol plus two phenergan and I was still laying under two blankets with the blinds and curtains pulled. Crying. This is what happens every now and again. Its been really bad this season change.
This starts tomorrow. I've researched to learn many scary possibilities. Its ridiculous! I think I've read too much and am now worried. I've leaned many important things as well. Just one, I take my medication with a coca cola. Though caffeine can cause headaches, it actually helps me. Caffeine is added to many meds because of its ability to speed absorption.
I'm also in the middle of a credit discrepancy that I should stop worrying about and just let the team of Attorneys do their job. Its been going on for about a year now and I can't apply for anything. We have oil back up heat and I have to pay before they deliver. I easily afford it and don't need it that much per our climate but, damn its only $300. Bill me.
Thanks for reading and the suggestions.
wow, sorry to hear about your condition. you should ask your regular GP to reccomend you to a specialist. don't be afraid to ask questions and take somebody with you. im actually fighting side effects of nausea cansed from another drug im taking a lot of times it's just trial and error until you find one that works. phenogren is strong and usually knocks me out too. i dont know whats worse the nausea or the original problem. you have to really be careful that you don't get dehydrated. maybe consult with a dietician. i dont know if this helped you but hang in there and stay strong.

Re: Migraines/Headaches
let me ask my brother in law. He has had bad migraines his whole life. So bad that he cannot walk, cannot talk, doesnt know where he is, or who the people around him are. Like you he has had countless MRI's and CT scans and tried many many diff. types of meds and diets.
They finally put him on something diff. and he hasnt had one in months (he use to get them almost every other day)
Ill ask him what they put him on. Also I know they cut wheat out of his diet and that helped him alot. he couldnt drink beer etc etc.
Also Ill ask the gf when she gets home, she is a pharmacist and deals with meds and problems like this alot.

Re: Migraines/Headaches
Nope. 120/90 is the highest its ever been when checked. Normally its 9x/7x. Luckily for me the calcium blockers that I have been trying as a preventative have not lowered it even more. Hell, I have a resting heart rate of 59. When checked at first morning rise. When I am able to goto the gym and push myself on squats. Doing sets of 20 at only 160lbs, my HR still is only about 113. Granted these measurements are done with a MIO watch. Its a margin of error I'm sure.
