Re: my mazdaspeed
if you want to get a good laugh, pop the hood and get somebody to start the car for you.
A friend of mine had one- I screamed for him to stop turning the car over because I thought there was a motor mount missing the engine was moving so much!
Shit scared the hell out of me...pretty funny after the fact though.

ive seen guys rods laying on the interstate from 15 pounds...(stock internals)
go to unichip...they are awesome at remapping and tuning up your car. All it is is just like a stand alone ecu.

and ive heard it from the peolpe who disect these engines.
the peolpe at mental addiction motorsports woulnt even consider running theirs over 12 psi of stock internals. I have mine at 9 with spikes at arond 12psi. Im thinking about building it it to be able to take it to around 20-22 pounds. Ive just seen it and heard it from the professionals.

When I had a protege5 (same engine FSDE) I used to read all the time about the weak rods, small injectors and extremely weak tranny. There was a video of a guy blowing his car up on the highway. The rods looked like they colapsed.
