if you're going to be using any place to ship your luggage it should be forex and LBC. but anyways, if you ship your luggage that defeats the whole experience of finding your luggage at baggage claim since every box is wrapped identical.

Bring deodorant and soap with you if you can. Not sure how that'll work with current security measures. Anyways when I flew to Korea I fucking stunk and felt incredibly dirty.

yea...im plannin on bring my toothbrush and a small wash cloth with me on the plane. i dont think they'll bust my balls over it, the metal detectors seem to pay more attention to the foil on my gum than anything else on me.

Ask to be seated in the exit row when you check in. Did this from HK to Newark once, and it made life so much better. Last time I flew (in July), cameras were ok. In fact, I'd recommend taking all your expensive electronics with you in your carry-on, to avoid TSA/airport baggage screeners' sticky fingers.
