Also to the OP, as a CCW user myself, yo will learn very early in the class that alcohol+any firearm=felony charges often. If you get your gun back, take the damn class, it's very useful to learn about situations where you should not have a firearm on your person. Bottom line though, if you take your weapon to a party where drugs and alcohol are involved, I personally don't want you to obtain the right to hide a firearm on your person, nor do I want you owing a firearm at all. Just saying it should have been common sense to at LEAST leave it in the damn car.
