i dont know but in VB i see base model cobalts as much as i see any other car maybe becasue im looking too.... with gas going up the base model get decent gas milage

Yea, Ive already seen 2 WRXs lately with full Hella lights up front and covered in stickers. Not saying they dont race them competitively but it sure didnt look like they did. Clean as a whistle, looked dead stock aside from the lights.

Rally style is cool.

but it's much cooler with rally mods (anti-lag, dogbox, good ass suspension, shit like that) in a clean looking street car, than a stock street car with "show" shit on it.

I would really dig some local rallycross events, I dont know if my tig ole burbo DSM would do very well with old worn out suspension but I would sure try.
