2006 True Street Rules
Entry Fee: $26 – Includes Car, Driver, 1 Crew Member
Purse: Winner - $450 Runner-Up - $200
Semifinalist - $50 #1 Qualifier - $100
If you qualify, Racer’s Ticket will be reimbursed.

Real Street is a ¼ mile, .400 pro tree, heads-up, first to finish,
qualified eight-car field, class reserved for passenger cars and trucks.
Legal combinations include normal aspiration, nitrous oxide,
superchargers, and turbochargers. No two types of power additions may be
used in combination. One power adder only. All entries must complete on a true 10.5” tire.

Body
The car must retain it’s original appearance and profiles.
Aftermarket fiberglass replacement panels are limited to hood, decklids, and bumpers only.
Aftermarket fenders are not permitted. Ground effects are legal as long as they
are offered through the dealership (i.e., Saleen Mustangs, Calloway Corvettes, Firebird Firehawks, and so on). No removable front ends.
Bumpers
Complete stock appearing front and rear bumpers are required. Fiberglass bumpers are permitted.
Chassis
Complete stock chassis, frame rails, core support, and cross members must be retained. Aftermarket, direct fit bolt-on replacement K-member allowed. Back-halved cars are not permitted. Rear frame can be notched. Mini tubs only are allowed, but must be completely upholstered.
Engine
Small block or big block engines allowed. Must use a factory production height block.
Cast iron or aluminum engine block material is permitted.
Exhaust
All entries are allowed to use tubular headers. The headers must be connected to a working exhaust system with mufflers. Exhaust pipe OD is unlimited and must extend beyond the leading edge of the driver’s seat with exhaust directed to the side by means of a turn down.
Format
Heads-up, quick 8 field, run on a pro ladder. Class will be run on ¼ mile.
All entries must weigh in at scales after each Qualifying and Elimination round contested.
No crew person allowed past
scales unless accompanied by Track Official.
Hood
Cowl hoods are limited to a rear-opening configuration only with a maximum height of 6” along the entire cowl. A legal hood must cover the entire induction system. OEM forward facing scoops consistent with vehicle model are acceptable.
Induction
Carburetors are limited to a single 4-barrel. Split carburetors are not allowed. Fuel injection must be electronic.
Interior
Full stock dashboard, steering column, headliner, upholstered door panels, and front seats are mandatory. Aftermarket seats are allowed. Rear seat may be removed. Full carpeting is required. No bare paneling permitted. No grace period, this rule is strictly enforced.
Lettering
Decals may be displayed anywhere on vehicle.
Oiling System
Dry sumps are prohibited. Front cross member may be altered for oil pan removal.
Power adders
1 Power Adder= Nitrous - 2 stages maximum or 1 super charger or 1 turbo charger.
Street Legal Equipment
All vehicles must have a minimum of one license plate.
Functional headlights, taillights and brake lights required.
Windshield wipers are not required. Gasoline only allowed.
All vehicles must be driven in all areas of track, no towing allowed.
Only one tow back per night is permitted, if car is broken.
Car may be worked on in shut down area, but towing a second time will result in disqualification.
Suspension
Stock style suspension cars only allowed. Aftermarket direct replacement components such as:
front control arms, rear control arms, front coil over shocks, rear coil over shocks,
a-arms, and polyurethane bushings are permitted.
Aftermarket heims may be used on control arms and a-arms.
Aftermarket rack and pinion steering allowed. Bolt on traction devices only allowed.
Weld on sub-frame connectors and rear sway bars are permitted.
Leaf Springs and shocks may be moved to accommodate tire clearance only.
Four links, ladder bars, and wheelie bars are prohibited
Tires
Radial, Slick, DOT allowed. Maximum tire width 10.5” measured tread width.
Transmission
Any automatic transmission allowed No clutchless manuals allowed.
No lencos or jeffcos allowed.
No lencos/torque converter combinations allowed.
No electric shifters or air shifters allowed.
Weight
Small Block with Power Adder 3,000lbs.
Big Block with Power Adder 3,300lbs.
No Power Adder deduct 300lbs.
Windshield/Windows
Windshield and all windows must be OEM glass.
Wings
Aftermarket wings and spoilers are permitted.

Friday Schedule: Gates open 5:00pm / 1st Qualifier @ 7:30pm / 1st Rd Elims @ 9:00pm

Ahh.. that makes more sense. That's what I get for trying to correct people
