Although, I'm willing to bet my GT with stock cobra PBRs will still outbrake the brembo's on your car.

Did the brake ducts come with modified dust shields then?
Unfortunately that is not true, I have lots of friends that have GT's w/ Cobra PBRs; doesnt even come close You have to remove the dust shields. You dont need them, air passing thought the ducting blows all the dust out.

$100 on the GT with stock PBR, outdated, 2 piston Calipers. And nope, not a race pad, street pads. He'll still out brake you.

I've seen brake duct kits with modified "dust shields" that let the duct attach to the spindle and direct all the air to the center of the rotor where it needs to go. I only ask because it seems like a good idea but I've heard of people having a hard time keeping the duct attached since things move.

PS Don't diss the PBRs.

Im on Stock Brembo pads. I think I gained a little more than 1 foot in braking from the Brembos I know this is "Magazine Racing" but thats we all have to go by on the Internet.

"The 13-inch front and 12-inch rear binders brought the GT to a halt in approximately 120 feet each time." - 5.0 Mustang
http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...ig_brakes.html

"Braking, 60-0 mph, ft 121" - MotorTrend (That was on a Vert which is heavier)

Lee, I think the series of numbers in his sig (GR 40) have more to do with it than the actual brakes....just a thought

Well I'm just talking about a regular GT, not one that has been stipped out and a ton of frame stiffing done to it.
