A place/person that can repair cracked cylinder head?
Instead of buying a new Alabama Head at $250+, I was wondering if anyone could help me find a place to fix this crack I found whilst doing my engine build. I'm no expert, but by the looks of things this appears to be a cheap fix as apposed to purchasing new/used heads and getting the amount of work I have done on these repeated.
(This is the Ford 4.0 V6 95TM iron casting)
I've made some calls around, and the only shop I had luck with was Ballos Machine Shop, but they "don't normally repair cracks." I just can't seem to find a place that will actually repair and existing crack. I know theres methods of doing it...
I'd be greatful for any help.
