Possible. I almost wouldn't have the balls to walk in court and be like, "Oh the cop got the road wrong, looks like you're going to have to drop the ticket."

No worry. Lawyers are expensive no point of getting one. I got 1 driving ticket about 14 over and it got dropped only driving school, same in your case. And then I got 72 in a 45 reckless In goochland county, and the judge just told me to pay the fine. It was like all together plus court fees was 285 i think. And you get 6 points on your record.
Where did you get the ticket chesterfield or still henrico?
If Henrico just go to driving school before you have court date and the judge goes easy on you. Most of my friends did that and the judge was very nice about it. Plus you only then have 1 point on your record. And you can take that off next year if you take driving school 1 more time.

well i really just dont want to get my license taken away thats all i am not to worried about paying the ticket it just would suck to lose my licenes for 6 months considering i have to drive to school and i have to get a job. so i need to be able to get places. i am just worried thats all. well i will still call some lawyers pffices today to see what the deal is.

how long has it been since driving school? if more then 5 years then you should be able to take drving school again. SINCE YOUR RECORD IS CLEAN, 99% its reduced and you need to pay a fine, or you can take the 1%.

Q. I was only speeding but the officer wrote me up for reckless driving. What gives?
A. In Virginia speeding in excess of 20 mph over the limit or over 80 mph is statutory reckless driving.
Q. Will this show as a reckless driving conviction or a speeding ticket?
A. If you are convicted as charged your driving record will show a conviction for reckless driving.
Q. What are the penalties for reckless driving by speed?
A. The maximum statutory penalty is twelve months in jail, six months suspension of your Virginia driver’s license or six months suspension of your privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Virginia if you are licensed elsewhere, plus a fine of up to $2,500. If your privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Virginia is suspended for any period of time, Virginia DMV will report the suspension to the state that issued your driver’s license. Prosecutors and judges in some jurisdictions will agree to reduce the charged speed on the ticket so that the conviction will be reported as a simple speeding ticket and not reckless driving. Others won’t.
Your ability to get some kind of leniency in these cases depends upon the policies in the jurisdiction where you’re charged and your prior driving record.
If you are licensed in Virginia, the police officer will likely have a copy of your Virginia DMV driving record with him in court. If you are licensed elsewhere you should obtain a copy of your driving record from the state that issued your drivers license and bring it to court or give it to your attorney.
If you think that speedometer error may have contributed to the offense, then you should have your speedometer calibrated. Make sure the shop gives you a certificate of calibration that includes a chart of “indicated speed” versus “actual speed” at various speeds, usually shown in 10 mph increments. The calibration certificate should also show the speed indicated on your speedometer when your vehicle was traveling at the speed charged on the ticket.

I'd recommend the lawyer I'm using for my reckless ticket but from some of the prices AL-David was throwing out there I won't. My lawyer is costing me $750. Hopefully he can lower and keep me from losing my license.

No point in getting one?!?! You're crazy!!! I had a reckless for 104 in a 70. I paid 500 for a lawyer and it was dropped completely. Lawyers are the shit.
