Piece of cake, need some specifics though, example year, make, model, where you you want mounted, etc, etc. Basically just bring vehicle in person for exact estimate n/c and we will handle it. "Pimpin Rides since 85"

I feel like that depends on how much torque your car has

I've stalled a mini out w/ the ebrake up (started car and didn't notice it was in gear) and it didn't move anywhere haha

EH3_SOHC,

FYI the ebrake activates the remote start, the vehicle must be in neutral so when you take the key out it is still running (so it's NOT in gear) remote start, exit out of the vehicle (still running) "arm it" and the vehicle cuts off, basically it will be left in that sequences until you return, if those procedures are not followed it will not work

and people have kids, kids do go into their parents cars the might put it in gear. its illegal for a reason man, and the first attempt is generally a .06 second crank time, the third attempt is a 1.0 sec crank time, that will move any vehicle torque or not.

EH3_SOHC,

Reference back my post, let's just say this so called imaginary kid gets ahold of the your keys which you are responsible for, he/she actually disarms the vehicle and for some reason he is thinking like you and puts the vehicle in gear, the sequence is then broken, remember the kid has to figure out how to remote start 1st then disarm, after that if his legs are longer than the adult who last left the vehicle he must then engage clutch, put in gear, after that if he has actually got that far, as I said sequence is broken comprende, the only way to remote start is when you return to the vehicle and do it then or it will "NOT WORK" if you disarm 1st once again it will not work.

What if someone left their kids on the car for some reason while they ran in a store? Then the kid wouldn't have to disarm the car to put it in gear. Also you don't need to push in the clutch to put a car in gear if its not running

Either way, if you want to put a remote start on a manual car then its your choice. If it is illegal that won't stop a shop from installing it.

Excellent question 69vette,

It's post like these that keep us on ridicules "POINT" always remember we need questions like this to service every scenario and solution, we forwarded this post directly to DEI and basically who would leave their child unattended in a vehicle and "ARM IT", it seems this post should now be about more of child neglect than a MT remote start post, O.K. now let's just imagine "AGAIN" that this is actually one of those cases, which has been confirmed by DEI to not have happened in MT history(10 years) 1st this child has to move with more effort than a stalking Siberian Tiger and forcefully without a single vibration put vehicle in gear or the mercury shock sensor would be activated therefore breaking the sequence, now if your planning on doing some child neglect the solution would be to add a neutral safety switch, keep in mind the work involved which would cost about the price of the remote start, regardless of how ridicules of the scenario we have the solution.
