Re: Wanted: E-85
My dad works a mile from Langley Research Center and does research for NASA so he has access to the facilities. He said he would see about getting some for the RPM guys and then if he is able to get as much as he want then we could go from there.

E85 will be readily available to the 757 by fall/winter.... trust me
Yorktown plant switches over to 100% ethanol production tonight....

Re: Wanted: E-85
I'm very curious to see if the lower cost offsets the decrease in gas milage from a daily driver perspective. The higer octane sounds great but, you'll need an FPR and/or bigger injectors and/or a bigger fuel pump.
other recommended items for E85
1. Go to an compatable fuel pump (non-sparking if intank design).
2. Replace fuel lines with alcohol compatable lines.
3. Possibly replace filter (???).
4. Replace injectors with large enough ones to feed proper fueling.
5. Replace injector/FPR o-rings with compatible o-rings... viton maybe?
6. Add a spark/flash suppressor to the fuel tank inlet tube.
7. Ensure the fuel tank material is completely compatable with alcohol.
8. Stop the stock ECU from freaking out due to changes in various emissions sensor readings.
although these Subaru guys don't seem to be having any probs: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=803341
