Amen to that!

My issue would be with the towing company.

If you really had to have that space so bad, common sense should have told the guy to go inside and ask around for the owner and have him move it.

True that on the hindsight.. My issue would be with the tow company also I would sue them and make enough to fix my bike better than ever .thats just me I would see if they took pics of it before they towed it and say they did it all I just had it towed because it wouldnt start....Shady I know but oh well

hate to add this, but if every panel on the bike shows damage, plus the peg/etc, the bike could be totaled. yeah, i know, it's rediculous, but that plastic is expensive, and if the price of the plastic and everything else that was damaged tops 70% of the value of the bike (book value, not what it cost new), then the insurance comapny will total it.

i've seen it happen many a time.

still don't know what the hell the guy was thinking laying the bike over, there are other ways to go abouts what he was trying to accomplish.

Illegal parking he won't get any type of money out of suing the old man he can get the towing company for the other side. Its like driving with out insurance if you get hit your still at fault.

I wouldnt sue somebody if they "put" my bike down. I would gently "put" their car down...with a 24" adjustable wrench.
