Re: Cycle whore thread
You fellas should join up at advrider.com for real. If you have any sort of interest in adventure riding, it's the best site out there. We also have a Hampton Roads thread with all of us locals. There's usually a couple rides a week, most of us have dual sports so we can ride to the trails and then straight onto them.
Is in ur head, why?

Re: Cycle whore thread
Jesus. Let's just say... you ride it more than once every two or three weeks, you WILL have problems by mile 5,000+. Then again you'll be so knee deep in pussy that it won't even matter that you've been staying on top of scheduled maintenance, or that you babied her. They are italian. They are finicky. But they are beautiful, and oh so ungodly fast.
emphasis on the beautiful.
You aren't going to have as many problems with say a "new" ducati because they have a pretty decent warranty program (goes by months, not miles).. but the 1098, 848, 1198... all look like R1's. And are way too common and NOT unique for my tastes.
My bike is old, and old things tend to go. She'll get an over haul one day... but until that day comes
