Cycle whore thread
Re: Cycle whore thread
^ I'm not sure if 'awkward' is the best term. The 650's seat is functional- can actually ride two up with the bigger bike, without it being a burden. The 250/300 seats look like band-aids compared to the bigger 650.
Now if you meant 'aesthetically more pleasing than the 650', then I will have to agree.

Re: Cycle whore thread
base layers
bought one of these at the beginning of the season:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o05_s00_i00
it makes a world of difference. today, it was ~70 on my ride home, but I'd worn a t-shirt and my perfed leather jacket and left that shirt in my back pack (i'd worn it and a thermal t-shirt under the jacket on the ride in). My arms were freezing after only a couple of miles. pulled over, put that shirt on under my jacket and had a very comfy ride home.
it fits a bit like a wet suit but does a great job of blocking the wind.

Re: Cycle whore thread
LOL um no, there have been 3 generations of 650s.
06-08
09-11
There is the 12' and 13', not sure about the changes to those.
2006
2013
The 13' has a better looking seat than the earlier models but still, not like the Ninja 250s or other standard sport bikes.
