Cycle whore thread
Re: Cycle whore thread
Let's not get carried away. I do alright, but that's a Mustang in my driveway, not a Gulf Oil Ford GT.
I can tell you without a doubt that my first mod won't be Ohlins rears. It'll be a simple fender delete. I need to do some more research and some more riding (remember, I'm 7 years out of practice) before I decide if I want to spend that kind of cheddar on bike suspension. You see, if I get Ohlins rears, I need forks to match and a chain to match as well. Then with that serious of an upgrade to the bike's suspension, surely it will need more power. See how this progresses?? If I do all that, I'll need a Scrambler as well so I still have a comfortable, reliable bike to ride every day.
or I could just make it look prettier and enjoy it as is with a couple little upgrades.

Re: Cycle whore thread
My drive to work is exactly 1 mile, I have to take the detour to work if I want to ride my r6. It does make gas in the big ole SUV less of an issue. I've only filled it up once in the past month and a half.
