Can I borrow it?

 

is any going to be riding this weekend in the Rumble Thru the Tunnel? I did not think this was a sportbike friendly event but my father advised me otherwise.

 

alot of sport bike clubs go to this.. i think its rather gay. so i will not be going. plus i have work

 

I want to go just to hear it.

 

So after being off the bike since March, I got my fairing stay on, bolted everything up, and rolled out (despite riding dirty...) for the first time. Holy hell, I almost forgot why I loved riding. It felt SOOOOO good to be back on two. Cruised up Military Hwy, visited my wife at work, and rode out back towards home.

Unfortunately, I met up with two jackasses. One on a primered CBR F2 (maybe... looked like one anyway) and the other on a primered ZX-7. They seemed ok when they pulled up next to me in traffic. Then the one on the ZX-7 starts bouncing it off the rev limiter. Light turns green, I head on my way and the CBR blows past me, splitting lanes at like 60+ and the ZX takes off after him. We hit a bit more traffic and they start cutting cars off. Some chick honks at them, and the ZX bounces it off the limiter again. I just shake my head and hope no one associates me with those douches.

All in all, it was great to ride again. Shouldn't be much longer til I'm good and legal.
