I have another track day coming up on 9/11/2010 for Summit main. If you get your stuff together we could ride together up there. My trailer holds 2 bikes. its only a one day event.

I would love to go, but I'm ridiculously busy. I'm gone 12 hours a day from 6am to 6pm, then watching my 7 month old for the rest of the night while my wife takes a break (this is Monday through Friday). On Sat/Sun we just hang out all day together as a family.
Now what are weekend track days like and if there are any? I see each event is pre-planned...

Nice, I actually checked out the site a couple days ago, heard nothing buy good things about it.

Must not have owned a shoei yet.
I have had a Scorpion Exo-400, 2 Exo-700, HJC CL-14, HJC-CL-16, HJC CL-SP, KBC Modular, 3 Shoei RF-1000's, and an HJC Draco... and quite a few others... since I have bought and sold about 7 bikes and each bike usually comes with about 2 or 3 helmets.
My girl loved her Scorpion Black Dalhia Exo-700, but she has never worn a Shoei yet either...
The Scorpion helmets always let in too much air around my face... In the winter and colder months... it was very bad to ride in that helmet. My nose and lips always felt like they were about to fall off... Although the 700's were much lighter than the 400... they were still very noisey and had a decent amount of weight to them.
I currently have 2 Shoei RF-1000's and a HJC Draco... I wear the Draco the most just because my girl has the matching helmet in pink and I dont really care about that helmet as much. My Shoei's on the other hand... are super quiet, extremely well fitted, and extremely light... Although, I have not had the chance to check out a Vega, Aria or a shark yet... I want to... but as for now.. the Shoei's are by far the best helmets that I have put in my noggin.

I have an HJC CL-SP and a Shoei RF-1000 and I must say the difference is Night/Day..
I prefer Shoei over and Arai personally just because of the shape and design. But compared to the HJC its HELLA Lighter/Quieter/Better balanced

When I tried on shoei's I just couldn't like them. Not sure what it was but I just wasn't comfortable. My scorpion is very quiet, I can actually talk and hear myself pretty good. I don't feel the wind on the face like you say though?
