i'm not really into air brushed bikes at all, but i thought all the race bikes were really cool to see, especially Rossi's yamaha... i'm actually completely in love with that 05' 1000, but not going to buy one

Re: CycleWorld Bike Show in DC
really? see i had my 03' 1000 and a f4i at the same time and i hated the seating position on the F4i, i felt like i was on a old standard bike sitting straight up and down with the bars really high... i actually felt like the 05' 1000 was like my 03' only a little better

Re: CycleWorld Bike Show in DC
It felt like I was sitting on the damn tank............not a seat. I felt too high, felt like I was sitting straight up and felt like my head was over the front forks, not the tank...........like I was sitting way too far forward.
Plus the bike feels wayyyyyyyyy too heavy for what it is. Just trying to turn it felt weird. I'm 6 ft tall and it felt ( I really wasn't) like I was tippy toeing on it while trying to turn it.

Re: CycleWorld Bike Show in DC
yea the 929/954/1000rr really put you right over top of the front wheel... which i guess should be a good thing, but it feels so twitchy to me having the bars almost between my legs
